Today I am able to offer a most unusual Mahogany Art Nouveau Writing Desk with a Starting Price of £0.99 and For Sale with No Reserve.

This unique Desk has a leather inset sliding top which when pulled forward has a mechanical action which reveals a pop up writing superstructure with pen and other compartiments and the two original inkwells. There is a maker's label to the side of the single drawer. (Stone's Patent). The single mahogany lined drawer has the original stylish metal drop handles. This piece is very much of the style of Liberty of London with its decorative shaped feet.It is polished on the back so could be used in the centre of the room.

I would date this interesting Desk to the early 1900's.

Condition

Excellent. The original leather is worn but could be replaced easily if required.
