Art Nouveau Arts and Crafts Chair with Inlaid Design

This auction is for an attractive inlaid art nouveau / arts and crafts chair.

Attractive art nouveau fabric to the seat and back rest. The back rest has inlaid detail and a cut out shape to the top.

Measures:

42cm floor to seat

40cm wide

41cm deep

Back to floor 93cm.

There are some small nicks and scratches to the wood. The top of left hand side back rest column looks as if it may have been broken off some time ago and reglued as there is an uneven line running around it - if it is a repair it has been done well. Underneath the chair, there is also a repair to the seat frame where a piece of wood has been fixed in at an angle next to the original frame. There appears to be a dip in the seat stuffing above this. The hessian is also fraying on the back edge on the underneath of the chair.

A very pretty chair.

Buyer is to collect from Strood in Rochester Kent. Evenings or weekends preferred although I may be able to arrange a daytime collection depending upon work commitments.
