Art Deco Oak Bureau / Desk / Bookcase / Bookshelves
This good quality bureau is a stylish piece of Art Deco furniture, and it will make a very useful addition to any room.
The inset panelled fall is fitted with a working lock and key which safeguards the contents of the bureau, and the interior has 5 large pigeon holes, while the reverse side of the fall provides a conveniently sized writing surface.
The 3 dovetailed drawers are fitted with original chrome and bakelite handles which are typically Art Deco, and the top drawer is also fitted with a working lock and key, while the shelves while flank the bureau provide added convenience.
The condition is good, with only minor marks consistent with age and use to mention, and all 6 of the handles have a small piece of Bakelite missing from the top. The fact that they are all like that means it must have been done intentionally at some stage for some strange reason.
The height measures 37 1/4 inches.
The width measures 35 1/4 inches.
The depth measures 15 inches.
The height to the fall measures 27 inches.
The depth of the shelves measures 5 3/4 inches each.
The height above each shelf measures 9 3/4 inches, and the height below measures 10 1/4 inches.

This item cannot be posted as it is too large and fragile. We carry out all deliveries in person, and each item of furniture is fully insured from the time of it's purchase to the time of it's delivery.
We deliver to most parts of mainland UK, but we advise that you request a quote for delivery before placing a bid or making a purchase so you are fully aware of the cost. We will combine multiple purchases to reduce delivery costs, and small items will go free with larger items.
We do not allow cash on delivery sorry.
Customers are welcome to collect, but by appointment only as we run an unmanned warehouse.
Payment Details
