Description: This is a beautiful quality Art Deco burr walnut veneered, cross-banded and carved, Odeon design double wardrobe armoire.  The wardrobe stands on its original moulded blind plinth, rising above which are the burr walnut veneered rounded pilasters with carved floral and gadrooned crests.  To the centre are the classic Odeon design arched doors with beautiful figured burr walnut veneers and original carved handles, complete with original lock, estucheon and key.  The doors have arched tops and are cross-banded along the top edge and the top quarter of the door.  When opened you reveal an interior with a three-quarter and full hanging height and original nickel plated rails and a single half height mirror behind the right hand door.  A lovely quality wardrobe complete with working lock and key. Date: The wardrobe dates circa1930s.
Condition: The wardrobe is in very nice condition, retaining its original finish, having good colour and patination, with some minor wear consistent with age and use.
