Art Deco Bohemian Foil Opalescent + Glass Bead Necklace














 

An unusual and beautiful Bohemian foil glass necklace, featuring an array of rare, exquisite multi-coloured foils. There are opalescents, deep midnight blue beads, shimmering silver blues, pinky-orange beads and deep brown speckled beads with scintilating silver foil. These large focal beads are matched with smaller blue foil beads. It's absolutely dazzling!

The beads were made in the 1920s in the old Kingdom of Bohemia, the modern day Czech Republic. All the beads are really high quality; a couple have minor nicks, and one of the silver blue beads has some internal lines - see the last photo. the overall condition is excellent for beads of this age.

The necklace measures 24inches that's 61cm, with the largest bead a huge 2.1cm in length.

This is a complete one-off necklace, the colour combination is fantastic, and very dramatic. Don't miss it for your collection!
