Art Deco Birds Eye Maple Bowed End Desk / Writing Table
This good quality desk / writing table is a lovely piece of Art Deco furniture, and it will make an incredibly stylish addition to any room, office, or study.
It's birds eye maple veneers are complimented so well by the darker coloured handles and the walnut banding and plinth bases, while the bowed left hand front corner proves to be another pleasing feature.
The 4 drawers are constructed with very good quality dovetailed joints, and each one is fitted with a brass escutcheon and a working lock with shared key, however there is no key for the lock which is fitted to the door. The cupboard is fitted with a replacement shelf.
The condition is generally good, however there are some minor age related marks of use to mention, and some minor chips in the edges of the veneers. The top has some shrinkage across the middle, and the finish on the left hand side is a bit dull.
The height measures 30 inches.
The width measures 48 inches.
The depth measures 24 inches.
The height to the knee hole measures 22 1/2 inches.

This item cannot be posted as it is too large and fragile. We carry out all deliveries in person, and each item of furniture is fully insured from the time of it's purchase to the time of it's delivery.
We deliver to most parts of mainland UK, but we advise that you request a quote for delivery before placing a bid or making a purchase so you are fully aware of the cost. We will combine multiple purchases to reduce delivery costs, and small items will go free with larger items.
We do not allow cash on delivery sorry.
Customers are welcome to collect, but by appointment only as we run an unmanned warehouse.
