Army Surplus 1970`s SAS NBC Suit Still in Packing £1

throughout the 70's and early 80's as well as being used by the SAS.  In particular, as I collect SAS kit and have done so for 12 years, I can tell you that this particular version with the grey hoods Mk II, were the suits that the antiterrorist wing used underneath black overalls at the Iranian Embassy siege in 1980.  The hoods in particular are identifiable on the footage and pictures of the siege.  These are indeed quite hard to find now and the price you've got them at is not unreasonable.  There are few SAS collectors who collect stuff from this period but I'm one of them and I'll advertise them on the site we use. 

I am told the garments have a special ultra thin protective charcoal line inside the cloth and were issued to the SAS.  I can tell you that I was both comfortable and warm.  The size is marked as small, though I am not small and would say that the one size I have should fit most people between 5ft - 5ft 10 inches tall, there are cotton brasses attached to hold the trousers up and they are a similar wide fit to fishing waders so they would fit a 30 inch - 40 inch + waist.
