TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
All our items are original, if not unique, if we state that an item is vintage rather
than vintage style, we mean that the item is old rather than reproduction.
THE SERIOUS STUFF.....
All lots are as accurately described as possible,
we are not experts and bidders are encouraged to email us with
specific questions or concerns before they bid; we will be happy to answer all
questions we can.
All lots are guaranteed as described as far as overall condition, approximate
date and size. Most items we sell are of vintage era, although will make
every effort to point out flaws, we cannot be responsible for the possible small
imperfections, wear or other signs of age associated with such items. Lots
are not subject to return unless the lot is misrepresented or not as described.
If you are unhappy with any items please let us know
immediately and we will try to resolve the situation, but if negative
feedback is left without attempting to contact us we will not complete any
refund.
We will not be responsible for lost or broken items that are not
insured by the buyer.
International bidders:
All payments must be made
by Sterling Bank Transfer or with PAYPAL.
UK bidders: We
accept Bank Transfer (fast and free!), Personal Cheque, PayPal, NoChex, Postal
Order.
We prefer, in order, Bank Transfer, Personal Cheques and Postal Orders to
PayPal. We will mail you with our bank account details if you wish to make
a direct Bank Transfer Payment (Please note that these payments may take a few
working days to appear in our account). For cheques we will post most items a soon as the cheque arrives for
buyers with suitable feedback ratings, otherwise we will wait for them to
clear.
Payments made by PayPal eCheques will have to wait until
the payment has cleared, they have been known to take 3 weeks to
clear, so be prepared for a long wait.
Payments made by Bank Transfer and PayPal Credit Card Payments are considered to be complete as soon as they are
received and the item will be sent at the earliest opportunity. Payments: Please note
that all payments must be received within 7 days of the auction
ending . If payment is not received during this period and
no confirmation that payment has been sent, then the auction is considered
closed and the item may be subject to relisting. Non Payment Strikes
will be issued, future bids will be
blocked and Negative feedback will
be posted for non payment and we will pursue the buyer for
fees.
Shipping & Packing: Please note that posting and
packing charges are not negotiable, therefore by bidding on any of our
items you agree that the charges are fair. We attempt to ship all items as
quickly as possible, but we will only guarantee that items are sent within 7
days following the clearing of a
payment. We carefully pack all jewellery items in bubble wrap and then
inside a jiffy bag. If further packaging is required by the buyer
then the additional cost will have to be paid by the buyer which will be
confirmed upon request. Other larger or fragile items are boxed and
protected where necessary as part of the standard shipping costs.
Items broken during transportation without shipping insurance will not be
refunded.
Combined Shipping for multiple items: Where possible, we offer
reduced shipping costs when buyers win two or more items which can be
shipped together. We charge the standard shipping rate of the first
item and 50 pence per additional item, provided total weight is not
excessive. If weight is excessive this will be reflected in the
invoice.
Feedback: We are delighted to provide positive
feedback when the transaction is successfully completed and we have
received positive feedback.
Communication: We generally do not communicate
the receipt of payments through PayPal or the sending of the item.
We are happy to provide confirmation of receipt of cheques and money and
the shipping of items if requested to do so previously or just after
completion of the auction. Messages should be sent through the Ebay
Message system. If insurance is asked
for with the shipping we are happy to provide scans of the shipping
receipt and tracking numbers upon request.
Returns Policy: We will accept return items
within 14 days of receipt of an item that is either; described incorrectly or not
properly represented in the many pictures we take. The buyer must
email us, to inform us that they intend to return the item. A refund will be made of the total price
minus the shipping costs when we receive the item back safely.
Items broken during transportation without shipping insurance will not be
refunded.
