New External Filter with built in 9w UV, Suitable for tanks upto 1000 Ltr.

This External Aquarium Filter with built in 9w UV sterilizer system uses a multi-stage approach to filtration, separating a number of distinct filter materials into easy access baskets.

These work on the same principle as internal power filters, but are positioned outside the tank and draw water into the filter through an inlet tube which also has a skimmer attached to the top of the pipe to clean all waste which sits on the surface of the water so the filter will not only clean the dirt from the bottom of your tank but also clean the surface of the water in your tank.

The filter then returns the water via another tube, which is fitted with a spray bar to increase aeration. They avoid the need for an unsightly filter
inside the tank. The media capacity is much larger than internal filters and they are therefore suitable for much larger tanks.

This filter also has a built in UV sterilizer.

UV Sterilizers expose passing water to lethal doses of ultraviolet light, killing, sterilizing, or otherwise irreparably damaging many microorganisms (bacteria, fungi, protists, viruses, etc.). Water is pumped slowly past a quartz glass sleeve which contains a high intensity ultraviolet light sealed inside the glass tube. The sleeves are designed to allow the maximum amount of UV to pass through to the water.

The wide variety of filter materials provide waste-free water, strong biological purification and active control of water characteristics. By combining wide media choice with ease of access, meaning you can customize the filtration style to the aquarium's actual need.

The aquarium filter is both suitable for Fresh & Sea water aquarium tanks.

The filter comes with all fittings: hose, spray bar, all connections and Biochemical cotton one for each tray.

The filter is very easy to clean all you have to do is remove the 4 self closing clips on the lid take the lid off the filter then lift the filter trays out. Just rinse each tray and once the filter media is clean just put the lid back on pull down the 4 self closing clips and its all done.
