This is a rare Nailsea glass flagon from the late 18th/early 19th century. The flagon stands at 5.3 inches (about 13.5 cm) high. The body of the flagon is aqua, splashed with white enamel flecks.
The piece is typical of Nailsea type glass of this period. The base has a circular pontil scar and shows typical signs of wear. There is one crack running from the side of where the base of the handle joins the body around one side to the front just below the string rim. This is visible in the photos and is only visible from one side.I don't really want to sells this rare item but, I have just purchased two other expensive bottles.
