This drive has been low level formatted, Dos formatted and then installed into a working 4th Gen iPod restored and has music Sync'd onto it.

It has passed all tests and is fully working. It will work in 4th gen iPods only.

2 x Soft Plastic disposable opening tools.

This product works in:

Apple iPod 4th Generation iPods (the classic style ipod not Nano 4g)

please note you'll need to transfer the blue foam and surrounds from your existing drive.
