iBook G4 12" 1.33Ghz (late 2005) 1.5GB RAM 40GB HD

Apple iBook (late 2005 release Model) which is in fully working order and Good condition - it has always run faultlessly, never missing a beat through Uni and all my graphic design and web work.

The Ram has been upgraded to the maximum 1.5GB which is plenty for running photoshop and doing graphic design work with the PowerPC processor (which is still up to the job).

The HD is the original 40GB but this can be upgraded (an upgrade would be about £25 to £35 and their are video tutorials on YouTube to show you how to do this).

Battery is still in good condition and you can get 2-1/2 to 3 hours out of it when you are economical. The Power adapter has been recently replaced as after 3 years the plug developed a loose connection.

It has been looked after well and is in very good condition I have cleaned it and will ship it in the original box with manual and install CD's. I have wiped the hard disk with a fresh install of OS X which will be ready for you to set up from new with your own user account as soon as you turn it on.

Shipping will be by courier (I usually ship within a day or two of receiving payment). If you would like to collect the item then you will have to pay cash on collection. Otherwise, payment should be by paypal and I will supply you with the tracking number for the item. I must stress that if you pay by PayPal then I can not offer collection.

The courier will be 48 hour delivery (although not a time-guaranteed service but most parcels actually turn up the next day).

Please contact me if you live in Northern Ireland, The Channel Island or The Scottish highlands for a revised postage cost as it may be slightly higher.

I'm selling as I recently bought a MacBook pro but my new MBP does not have the look and feel of the iBook and it is definitely not as compact! I will really miss this iBook (which feels weird to say..)!

Included in sale is the install cd's, manual, power adapter, VGA out adapter and TV-out (RCA/composite and S-video). The top has several light scratches, and the bottom of the unit is a bit scuffed, but overall for a 3 1/2 year old laptop it is in very good condition. The Monitor has no dead pixels or lines and all keys on the keyboard are working.

I am not offering international delivery on this item so please do not ask.
If you want to buy this item then please bid or use the buy it now option (this is only available until the first bid is placed - I will not sell this item outside of eBay so do not ask as I find this to be quite rude ;)

Because this is a higher value item, if you have no or very little feedback I will only ship to the address on your paypal account and I may ask for proof of address if I do not find you listed on the electoral role. This is purely to protect myself from fraud / hijacked accounts - if you are an honest ebay-er (and the majority are) then you have nothing to worry about (The few spoil it for the many as usual!)
