Payment Options

FASTER PAYMENTS

My preferred method of payment is the excellent new faster payments system that the main banks have recently introduced.

If you bank with one of the main 16 banks and building societies within the UK then you have probably received an email or letter explaining you can now send electronic transfers that will clear within two hours to certain banks. Internet or telephone banking works well but if you have neither set up you can go to your branch of your bank and ask them to do it from there.

I bank with Lloyds TSB who participate in this new system so as long as you are with one these 16 banks and building societies you can pay me this way.

Payments made before 11.00am will usually go out the same day for delivery next working day. Unfortunately payments will not show up on my internet banking until the next day so if you are paying before 11.00am and require same day posting please phone me on 07800 657487 as I can easily confirm your payment by phoning my bank.

Personally I think this system is much better than paying by PayPal as instead of making the American multi billionaires who own PayPal even richer any inevitable charges will go to our beleaguered British banks.

Please note: More banks are joining the system all the time so this list may not be complete. If your bank does not paticipate yet then you can still pay using the older BACS system which takes 3 working days to clear

I can also accept payment by PayPal but I will only post to the UK address as shown on my PayPal page. No exceptions.
I can also accept BACS bank transfer to a Lloyds TSB business account if your bank isn't paticipating in the new faster payment system. Telephone or internet banking work well. This takes 3 working days to clear. If you do not have telephone banking or Internet banking set up then you can go to your branch of your bank and do it from there.
If you are in a real hurry to get your machine and you don't have a PayPal account you can pay by paying CASH over the counter in any branch of Lloyds TSB directly into my account (less than 1 hour to clear). Orders placed this way in the morning can usually be posted the same day for next working day delivery.
I can also accept a personal or business cheque but of course that takes much longer as the Royal mail (who lost 30 million letters last year) has to be taken into account, I have to bank it and then five working days to clear.

Swift code, IBAN, BIC etc will be provided on request

I will NOT post outside the UK.

Terms and Conditions

Contact must be made by buyer within 48hrs of auction close.

Payment must be made in full within 5 working days of auction close.

All items are as described, any faults must be reported within 14 days of receipt of goods. No returns will be accepted after this time unless previously agreed.

All "sold as seen" items are non refundable.

All postage is insured and signed for. If there is any damage or loss in the post then refunds/compensation is at the discretion of the postal service: I am not liable. I will endeavor to sort any postal problems out and will liase with the courier company.

If the product is faulty I will pay the postage both ways, but if on inspection it turns out there is nothing wrong with the machine, I will have to charge for the postage both ways before return of the machine.
