~ This door is the classic Art Deco  '1 over 3' 4 panel design and made in 1928~

~ The door comes in it's original paint as shown in the picture ~

~ The dimensions are 1985mm by 755mm by 35mm~

~ This door comes with it's original mortice lock and key ~

~ I also make bespoke period doors out of reclaimed pine, please get in touch for details ~

~ This door can be professionaly stripped for you at a cost of £40. This will take 7-10 days ~

~ I can fill the holes in the door again using reclaimed pine. This would cost £50. Please allow 7-10 days for this service ~

~ Why don't I strip the doors before I sell them? ~

~ The reason is that period doors were always designed and built to be painted. It is a modern twist to strip them. I offer my doors as they were intended to be. They might need a little filling and sanding but they will come up beautifully ~

~ Why so much to strip the doors? ~

~ Often doors are thrown into chemical stripping tanks in batches, leading to bowing and deterioration of the joints. I strip each door individually ~

~ Each door will take the best part of a day to strip. You are of course welcome to strip the door yourself ~

~ You are welcome to view the door before bidding, please call me to arrange a mutually convenient time. I am situated 10 mins from Junction 18 on the M25 ~

~ I would prefer if you collected the door but nationwide delivery is available at £25 per door ~
