Antique wooden tortoise - Hand Carved - 19th Century?

Hello there and thanks for taking time to look at this beautifully hand carved antique wooden tortoise, from the stretchy neck it looks like one of the large Galapagos Tortoises. The piece is made from a piece of hardwood like mahogany or similar and has quite an age to it, a beautiful patina.  All has been had carved and details added such as eyes, mouth, shell patterns etc. and the shell is lovely and smooth. The eyes have been heightened with a  white coloured material rubbed into the carved grooves. Possibly dates to the 19^th century or early 20^th century, it’s been in my possession for about 10 years, but time for this chap to move on.

Just selling this piece as you see it.

Condition is excellent as seen.

Size is approx 5” in length, 1 ½” in width .
