Antique semi-octagonal teapot/floral sprays/gold brush

Antique semi-octagonal teapot (the base is octagonal, and the body is round) with floral sprays and gold stippling.  

Apart from a small crack on the edge of the lid (see photo), and a tiny nibble out of the underside of the rim (impossible to photograph), it is in a very good condition for its age.  

There is no back stamp but there are some shallow impressed numbers which are very difficult to read, but which might be "726".  

It measures approx. 6 ins (15 cm) in height by 4 ins (10 cm) diameter.

Any unusual white patches visible on the photos are light reflections, and not
imperfections
