This is a wonderful, Vintage linen mangle cloth~*~ This is a really really beautiful cloth with wonderful red and white stripes. ~~**~ ~ This cloth has a mongram In the middle of one end, beautiful MS~*~ Mangle cloths are a woven fabric so are visible on each side~ they are so beautiful and useful for so many projects! This cloth is in lovely condition , whnen held to the light one can see 3 very small holes, otherwise, just light storage dirt that will wash~*~
Mangle cloths make wonderful curtains, valances, under the sink ruffle, under the bed ruffle, beach bags, tablecloths, draw string bags, patchwork fabric, quilts, aprons, shower curtain fabric, pillows, you name it! They are so easy to make into a draw string bag for storing cloths, pajamas, towels, you name it! ~*~*~

Mangle cloths are machine washable, if there is dirt present, simply apply stain remover, scrub a bit and wash warm regular wash. Add a bit of Oxywash to the cycle and presto!~*~
This mangle would make a wonderful country style tablecloth, curtains,cushions, upholstery fabric, quilts...To name a few. Mangle cloths are so country chic, full of continental country charm~*~

~For those of you who may not have heard of a mangle cloth: Mangle cloths were used to protect clothes before they were run through the old wringers or irons ( called mangles). Mangle cloths are made of some of the best linen. The linen is tough, high quality. The stripings on the mangle cloths vary greatly but the sizes are generally 3 meters by 90cm give or take a few centimeters either way. Mangle cloths can be used for a multitude of projects including: upholstery, quilting, sewing, clothes, curtains….you name it! They make stunning tablecloths as well. Mangle cloths are each charming pieces of textile history. They have a very rustic, country, shabby chic feel to them and add so much to any rooms' décor.
