 Antique Scottish Paisley Shawl. 

Up for sale is this lovely, antique, Scottish, woven, wool, Paisley shawl.

 The shawl  measures approximately 63", 160cms by 63", 160cms. The fringes add a further 5", 12.5cms at either end. Picture 6 shows the back of the shawl.

As you can see from the photos there are a number of holes, the largest being 1.5" by 1". There are some small darns in the central area. The patterned areas are in better condition than the centre but there are some small holes here too. It would also benefit from professional cleaning.

With some tlc this attractive shawl will make a charming addition to any vintage clothing or textile collection.
