Antique Vintage Masonic Medal Bracelet Jewellery Box

This is a bit special! This beautiful vintage leather ring box with a front  clasp - snap shut fastening is sure to delight! - Unusual, in that it is made by Spencer & Co Masonic Manufacturers of London (established 1801)  it probably originally held a medal, but it is suitable for an antique necklack or bracelet or watch.  It is in very good vintage condition.  It opens to reveal  a deep purple silk lined padded top (which is much deeper purple than the pictures suggest) the base is a deep blue velvet.  With a quality browny red hard leather case  with gilt tooling to the outside  Measuring c 6" inch long x 2.5" inch wide it is gorgeous! - The outer box is in good order and whilst showing light wear commensurate with age it is in very good order and indeed I feel the wear adds to its integrity.  To the base is a lable for the retailer john Adams of Southampton.   Impossible to find unusual antique jewellery boxes in this sort of condition, don't miss it!.
