An Antique piece of French Kitchen Linen, in Blue & Off White Cotton Check with pretty Blue & Cream Embroidery in a Cotton Thread.

Style:

• This type of Material was used in Kitchens and often pinned along shelves to create a nice look for the China to sit behind.
• Sometimes it was placed along windows or cooking areas.
• Difficult to find now as they were considered utility pieces rather than fine interior fabric.

Condition:

• The piece is in usable condition and could still be pinned up on a shelf!
• There are small moth eaten areas, but nothing alarming.

• The colours are good and strong having been kept away from the light.

• Always store antique fabrics rolled loosely in Acid Free Tissue Paper & keep away from dust and light!
