Antique Vintage Fishing Balance Scales & Weights

Details

This auction is for a set of early fishing scales.

They are Victorian with a later (but still vintage) pan, - this appears to be 1930's or possibly 1950's.

The surface of the pan measures 12 x 8".

The scales come with four old iron weights - 2lbs, 1lb, 8oz and 4oz.

The scales are in a vintage/antique pine box with 'Crooke Hall Inn Angling Society' painted on the lid (this is in Standish, near Wigan, Lancashire).

The box measures Height 11" x Width 14" x  Depth 5".  It has a hinged lid and a carrying handle. 

Condition

Very good vintage condition. There is a split in the bottom of the box but thatt's about it for damage.... just wear from age and use, if anything adds to the character of this item
