This auction is for the black and white embroidered silk shawl (c1920).  The dimensions are: 48x49 inches (122 x 124 cm) in the center, macrame measures 3-1/2 inches (9cm), the fringe measures 15inches (38cm).  The net weight is approximately 1-lb 3oz.  The condition is good/very good, with the following age related flaws:  Repair to embroidery (photo #3), repair to macrame (photo 4); some popped threads, some pinholes, a little bit of fuzziness to the fringe tips.  None of these flaws take away from the ability to use this shawl as apparel or decor. Please know the hue of the black background is slightly less bright in natural light than is conveyed by digital photography, but definitely not faded.

No personal checks.  Items are shipped by USPS Priority mail, with tracking/confirmation.  Seller is not responsible for damaged or lost items by USPS, therefore insurance is additional, not required but recommended.
