Pretty Victorian hand painted floral mug c. 1890.
A pretty and charming old mug with gilt rims and detail on the handle. Each side hand painted over transfer printed outline with a posy of flowers. Possibly intended as a Christening gift as these mugs often were, though no name added. 3.25" high. This came from an old Welsh country cottage with roses round the door where it looked lovely, and would make a very pretty addition to a period interior.
Condition;Good, no chips/cracks but the handpainted decoration has worn, a little more on one side than the other. Please don't hesitate to email if you require better images or close ups sent directly to you.
