Antique Bank

Wow! This auction is for a very nice and very rare antique wooden still bank. The bank is supposed to look like a safe and has a coin slot up on the top. On the bottom it has four large ball feet and on the front it has a brass latch and hinge set. When you open up the door it reveals a glass panel viewing area where you can see how much money you have in there. On the door there is a black and red litho that just says LOOK. Really neat, unusual bank from the 1890s and I have seen tons of cast iron banks, but never a wooden one quite like this. The bank is in excellent condition. There is a nail on the back that keeps the sliding panel on the back in place. That panel is a little warped at the bottom, but nothing serious. Measures about 5" wide and 6¾" tall. Great piece! Guaranteed old and original!
