It has been made out of solid OAK. The oak itself is a wonderful rich colour and has a fantastic patina. As you can see from the photographs there is fantastic depth to the carvings. There is a beautiful china thermometer, which is marked with Fahrenheit and Centigrade. On top of this is an thermometer, which is in perfect condition and perfect working order. Some lovely detailing has been incorporated into the thermometer which looks superb.

Going down to the aneroid barometer, the lovely china dial to this is marked with the weather conditions, these markings as you can see from the photograph are wonderful. There is also a blued steel finger and brass finger to mark the change in weather. The dial is also signed 'ANEROID BAROMETER' The approximate dimensions are:
- 31.75 inches high.
- 9.5 inches wide.
As you can see from these dimensions the barometer is of fantastic grand barometer.

The carvings on this barometer case are incredible, from the photographs you can see the attention to detail all the way down the barometer, which has been beautifully carved.

The dial is in perfect condition, as is the glass over the barometer. The barometer is in perfect working order and the oak case in in super condition. This really is a stunning quality barometer which is in fantastic condition. With regards to the age of the barometer it is Victorian.
