Description :


This is a lovely antique vestment set, comprising chasuble, stole, maniple, burse and chalice veil.

The set is made of a wonderful and unusual cranberry red silk damask, which has a design of holly leaves and berries!

It is decorated with needlepoint embroideries, and trimmed with a silver metal braid and bullion fringe on the stole and maniple.

Condition:  Overall good, also please note the following:  One side of the maniple is a different silk pattern to the rest of the set, and there is a little wear in the silk on this side, it also has a small part of the silver bullion fringe missing.  The cotton neck protector on the stole will need cleaning.  There are 2 small splashes of candle wax on the chalice veil.  The chasuble has a small area in the centre which has been replaced with a different pattern silk.

The chasuble measures 42 inches from the back of the neck to the hem.
