Antique Swiss Whitework Emb Flounce & Cuffs

For sale today a rare early machine lace flounce based on the designs of the 'Glasgow merchants' imitating the open wheels of sewed muslin a beautiful deep lace flounce in geometic scroll often seen in the Ayrshire designs, finished with fabulous dainty scallop edge and embroidered with eyelet work embellishment.
Size 26" by 6 & 1/2" deep with emb 2 & 1/2"
Offered in excellent gently used/unused condition, will need a light launder before use, fine cotton and very good white otherwise perfect, strong and sound original piece, ready to send off, for arts and crafts, sewing projects reenactments, staging etc
