Description: You are bidding for a stunning and very beautiful large antique oil painting. It is signed to the lower left with the artists name which looks like Fennshorry as you can see in the detailed picture below of the signature it is hard to see

The painting has clearly been painted by an artist of great experience rather than an amateur. He has paid with great skill picking out the detail and showing the mood of the day

He has used many methods of capturing the texture, life and depth with some areas being built up with oil and the some being left flat

The painting is depicting a remote white stone cottage at the edge of a loch or river that is at the foot of the highlands. The day is dark or bleak but a beam of sunlight is shown through a break in the dark clouds

The sunlight shines down on the valley at the foot of the mountains. The painting to some may be just another Scottish highlands scene but I would suggest that the painting symbolises or suggests hope, no matter what is happening there is always that ray of sunshine that breaks through the cloud s and makes you smile

The painting is a litter darker than what is shown (just the way it was photographed) and comes complimented in this modern to the painting frame that has a good shape and style and enhanced with a gilt finish

The seller had the picture professionally reframed about 8 years ago and was told the name of the artist by an excited gallery owner who immediately give an offer on this painting which the seller refused, he has later lost the name.

Condition: We have looked at this in depth and it is of our opinion that it is in the good condition as shown in the detailed photos below.

We have had it looked at and it has been suggested that it may have had to professional repairs to the paint at some times to repair 2 small areas of paint loss. Postage

We buy all our packaging, the p&p will include the cost of (boxes, polychips, tape & other) we don't make money on postage sometimes we estimate incorrectly, if the postage is more than the actual cost we will pay the difference.
If the postage is less, then the difference no matter how much will be donated to the NSPCC if on receipt of your item you wish to be credited the difference then please email within 7 days ( this is only applicable on amounts over £2)
It is the responsibility of the delivery company to deliver your items. We are not responsible for goods lost or damaged in transit and all claims must be made against the delivery company used. We however want you to receive your item in the condition it was sold, if any item is lost or damaged in transit please notify us with pictures within 7 days and we will investigate the matter fully and take the relevant action.
Ireland, Postage to Ireland is not the same as mainland UK, parcelforce charge us extra for going over water usually no more than an extra £10 to the quoted UK postage charge. smaller items sent to Ireland by Royal Mail first class is the same as UK mainland stated. Delivery (larger items)

Anything and everything can be delivered the main obstacle is cost. We have a network of delivery agents who frequently deliver up and down the country, the prices for mainland UK are between £70 - £100 depending on distance and location. We can also have the item delivered to the overseas but this can be expensive, please find the estimated price before bidding. We believe there should be nothing stopping you from bidding
Hand delivered costs are paid to the driver as we make no money on this service we don't want the paperwork.
Payment for hand delivered items must have cleared before delivery there is no cash on delivery service
