Antique Regency Mahogany Crossbanded Clothes Press

This beautiful antique Regency mahogany crossbanded clothes press / linen press ca 1810 has a polished top above a moulded cornice and deep frieze. The press has two crossbanded cupboard doors with key and working lock. The interior has five shaped sliding linen trays and the piece stands on four elegant turned bun feet, is a rich medium mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
