This auction brings you a stunning antique
slag glass shade that dates to the 1930’s.
This slag glass shade is in pristine
condition with no cracks, chips, fleabites or repairs. It is done in a “folded shade” pattern in the
colors of gold, cream and yellow.
Each fold in the shade has remained bright
with no staining or marks. The shade has
a 22” diameter (at its widest point) and is 11” tall. There are 27 individual slag glass panes and
each measures12” long x 2.5” in width (at its widest point). Please note: On
the top inside portion of the shade, you can see that a newer cover plate (for
the insertion of a lamp holder) has been added.
This shade came from a collector and whose
family owned a lamp and shade shop in Dallas
for many years.
A highly sought after shade that is
