Description: This is a lovely antique circular drop leaf "Sutherland" inspired solid mahogany breakfast dining table from the late 19th to early 20th Century. The table stands on classic country square taper legs with two swing out legs which form gates which in turn support the drop leaves. The table can be set in three different styles; stored away with both leaves down; having a single leaf up for a couple to dine at against a wall or window; or set with both leaves extended, forming a circle to seat four. The table has a lovely rich mahogany top with figured timbers, with plainer timbers in the base, united at the sides by moulded side rails. A very good quality table. Date: The table dates circa 1900.
Condition: The table is in good condition for its age, retaining its original finish.
