Antique Jewellery /Make-up - Box

Hello Beautiful and Smart People,

Presenting you a cute box looks like a beautiful jewellery box. It looks really old. It seems to be made of some metal probably some metal which has got a fairly golden colour and its sides are like a net.(Please observe the photographs) It has got a mirror inside it and you can see your gorgeous face in the mirror when you open the box. The box has got an old spongy inner surface. (It is not very spongy because it is of old style and a bit messy also) I think the bottom part is pasted with some glue to the metal. We can see traces of glue underneath.

It has got a heart warming picture of a man and woman (seems like they are in love) drawn on a small piece of round shaped china clay(I believe) on it's cap. This picture is really cute. The top part or cap seems to be made of mica or marble which I am not very sure about.

This item is really old so you should not expect it to be perfect. It is in good condition and it's a nice show piece. It can decorate your home show case or you can use it as Jewellery box.

I showed it to many people and most of them said that it is a jewellery box, some said that it is a make-up box and some said that it is a potpouri box. I feel that it is an old jewellery box. I do not know how old it is. It seems to be really old. Even if it's old for me it looks post and cute.

I am selling it because I haven't got a girl friend to gift this to..lol
