An Antique Indian Colonial Silver Rifle Presentation Cup

Description
 
This fine cup has a plain bulbous body, supported by three crossed silver rifles onto a domed circular foot.
 
The interior of the cup is gilt.
 
The cup was made by Barton of Bangalore, India.
 
(Englishman PA Barton founded Barton's, India's leading silversmiths, in 1861.
Indian princes, British rulers and the military patronised Bartons to furnish their messes with silverware).
 
 
Origin: Bangalore, India
Date: circa 1880
 
 
Condition
 
This cup is an extremely good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition.
Hallmarks struck to the underside of the base are very clear.
 
Reflections in photography may detract from the true representation of this item.
