An exquisite and most unusual solid or sterling Hanau silver tea caddy spoon complete with a really luxurious red leather presentation case. The case is lined in wonderful pale blue silk and eau de nil velvet. The silk on the interior of the lid is printed in gold with the retailer's mark J. Dudley / Goldsmith / Southsea.The bowl is decorated with two cherubs and a dog, the bowl in turn is supported by two dolphins and ending in a heraldic handle.The bowl is where the import sterling mark for London 1902, together with the Hanau mark for Karl Kurz Silberwarenfabrik, the English agent or importer being Theodor Hartmann.Exquisite quality and condition measuring 5 1/4" in length with the box measuring 6 1/2" x 3 1/2".
