Original antique fireplace. The house was built in 1895. Marble surround and mantle piece in perfect condition other than the two breaks (see below). The iron interior is modern and also in perfect condition. The fireplace is being removed this week as we are replacing it with a more modern one.
The mantlepiece is 155cm wide and the width of the main fireplace is 140cm wide. It is 117cm tall to the top of the mantlepiece. The metal inner is 96sm square and protrudes back about 22cm. The protruding part is about 70cm high by 60cm wide.
It is waiting to be collected from Fulham, SW London and must be collected within one week.
PLEASE NOTE! When the fireplace was removed, two of the narrow side panels broke unfortunately. They are clean breaks and could be easily repaired and re-polished the builder tells me! Note these are not the mantle piece or main surround which you see in the photo which are undamaged. It is one external side panel and the internal side panel by the hearth. One photo shows a break.
The identical fireplace can be seen in 'Real Flame Fireplaces on Kings Road' for £900!
