Antique Edwardian mahogany Glazed Display Cabinet / Bookcase

This stunning antique Edwardian mahogany glazed display cabinet / bookcase ca 1900 is in the Georgian revival style and has a moulded cornice with dentil moulding above two astragal glazed doors with key, working lock and reeded clash moulding. The interior has three adjustable shelves with reeded edges and the lower section has a moulded top above two cupboard doors with beautifully figured flamed mahogany panels. The lower interior has one removable shelf and the piece stands on four tapering legs with shaped feet. The piece splits into two sections for ease of removals, is a rich medium mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
