  This antique tea caddy or canister is a form that I have not seen before. There is engraved decoration around the sides and top and you can see in the fourth picture how it has developed a nice old patina over the years. It measures 5 inches tall and has a diameter of 4 3/4 inches. It has a few minor dents and a bruise to the bottom edge which you can see, but overall it is in excellent condition. The top slides off the bottom very smoothly and appears to be air tight. I dont see a makers mark on this but I would date it to sometime in the 1800s.   No Reserve !!   Thanks for looking and please check our other listings.
