Description: You are bidding for a stunning and very beautiful antique silver case. It is fully hallmarked for Chester 1915 and has the initials for the much sought after silversmiths E J Trevitt & Sons

The case is a good weight and is shaped to fit into the breast pocket. The front and reverse of the case have an impressive decoration of finely chased scrolls and laurels that cascade around a middle shield

The middle has the 3 chased initials of what appears to be 'JBW' the silver is thick and we are sure a jeweller could polish these out if you wanted to add you own initials

The inside shows the gilt finish and the elasticated straps at each side. This was made and sold as a cigarette case but are now being used by successful executives to hold their business cards. When you are handing out your business card to a prospective new customer it looks very impressive to take out of your jacket pocket a fine antique silver business card case, this gives the impression of success

This has come from a clearance we were instructed to do and would simply just need a gentle polish to make it sparkle

This is a stunning antique Chester silver case that would certainly compliment any collection or display and would make a great gift for a friend or loved one
