Antique Camel Bone Nut blank 47x7x3mm to fit Fender electric guitars.   Bone nuts and saddles improve clarity and sustain over their plastic or man-made equivalents. This aucion is for a single unslotted unshaped nut measuring not less than 47x7x3mm. It is cut to suit Fender style nut slots although obviously a little sanding will be required for final fitting.  It is alegedly from 40 year old camel bone. Whether the camel departed 40 years ago or was 40 years old when it went last thursday is unclear, but the piece certainly looks old and is a light tan colour. Camel bone is denser and harder than Cow or Buffalo bone giving even better brightness and sustain. It is a joy to work with and will polish up to give a spectacular finish.
