Description
...This is an old lamp with a gilt cast metal base of three opposing standing stylized lion/griffens with a brass extension collar that hold the pattern glass font. The lamp measures as it sits now at 12 1/4" tall. I know at some point this lamp was converted to electric and the collar on top was changed, It will need work either way to become electrified of back to oil...The base is well casted and is a spelter like cast metal with gilt surface may even be a cast iron. The glass font has never been drilled and the brass collar that holds it on the bottom is a litle bid off kilter and obviously when the conversion and fixing of this lamp takes place that will need a little attention also. The lamp is a nice procjet lamp, probably from the early 20th C. looks Victorian to me and is being sold as-is as it needs work, it's a good foundation for someone to have fun making it a working lamp all over again.

Thanks for taking the time to participate in my auctions and please check back from time to time as I list fresh and interesting antiques and fine arts just about every night!
About Me & My Auctions
All items on my page are listed to the best of my knowledge with all their positive attributes and of course their flaws fully exposed. I have over seventeen years working with antiques and fine arts, owning a couple nice antique shops over the years. I recently sold my auction gallery in December of 2008 which I owned for seven years to devote myself full time on eBay, it is not a hobby or pastime, it is my job. I travel about 800-1200 miles per week throughout New England, New York and other parts of the east coast visiting auction houses, estate sales, flea markets, house calls and local pickers who sell me interesting antiques and fine arts all the time. I strive to list quality items on my page, most with no reserve, at the rate of about 50 - 100 auctions per week. I recently hired my cousin Steven to pack and ship the sold items with the care I have given them in years past, I spare no expense to make sure your items arrive in the exact condition they left in.

Shipping Quotes on Larger Items:
Quoted and invoiced shipping prices (weight & dimensional) for chairs, tables, trunks, furniture, and heavy bulky items,etc. may not be correct especially if we are shipping coast to coast, large packages are difficult to estimate the actual weight when listed as to compared to once they packaged, you may be emailed for an adjustment after packaged and the actual weight is known, a package seams to get larger than expected with all the special packing involved with these types of items when you are trying to ensure a safe delivery.
I guarantee you find my shipping as some of the best you will receive when it comes to ensuring your treasure arrives in one piece, just check-out my feedback! The cost alone is shipping materials per week runs in excess of $350.00.

International Shipping
~~~~I SHIP TO THE REGISTERED PayPal ADDRESS ONLY~~~~
Items are shipped to foreign countries by U.S.P.S. Priority Mail International and or Express Mail International at my discretion.
"NO PARCEL POST"
Depending on the country in which you live you may be responsible for taxes and/or duties on your end, please see your local government for their guidelines, I am not responsible for packages that are held up in foreign customs.
Overseas packages can only be insured up to $500.00 by the U.S.P.S. click and ship program. These laws and regulations seem to change all the time, if you buy something expensive I highly recommend Express International Mail.
If a package is somewhat small and weighs less than 4 lbs., I can ship these items over by U.S. Registered Mail which can possibly be insured for more, all countries are different in this area also and you should familiarize yourself with your countries shipping laws, tariff surcharges and customs regulations if you regularly buy from U.S. sellers.
The day your item(s) are shipped you will receive an email with tracking numbers and pertinent information you may need.
