This is an original (not reproduction) entry door set made during the late 1800’s. The set consists of 2 brass knobs, 2 stamped brass escutcheons, 1 steel lock with 2 working keys, and 1 spindle with 2 set screws.

The knobs and escutcheons have a fairly straightforward design with a few elegant accents. They were partially cleaned leaving some of the patina to accentuate the beauty of the details.

All parts are in excellent condition; free of breaks, cracks, chips, or heavy scratches. The lock was disassembled, all parts were individually cleaned and greased, the lock was put back together, and now operates smoothly. Two keys were especially made for this lock. We could make additional keys: $3/key for lower latch and $5/key for upper latch. Let us know after the auction if you would like more.
