DESCRIPTION
This old tray measures 18 1/4" x 13 ½" and has a simple, primitive floral design done in a deep red and green with a mustard color line and leaf border. The edges have a lovely scrolled cut-out, or reticulated, border with cutouts for handles on each end. This was not just a decorative tray, I would say it received a lot of use in its day as you can tell by the way all the paint is rubbed off around the edges, the touched up paint spots, chips, crackling, and missing paint on both sides. I hope you can see all the marks in my various photos. Tray is a heavy metal and has no dents, dings or rust. If you are looking for perfection, do not bid on this tray, but if you love old, shabby and well-loved items, this is the one for you.
