A Familiar Treatise On Drawing for Youth Being an Elementry intorduction to the Fine Arts

17.5 x 24.5. Original marble paper covered board, hinge partially cracked, but top board very firmly fixed. Loss of marbled paper to spine with damage to head and toe. Top corner of top board with damage, and the remains of a label stuck to the top left corner, but a very solid binding.

Internally some foxing and a watermark to the title page and frontis that stretches for the first few pages, but not at all bad. Foxing mainly contained on the first few plates, generally very good condition, all 33 plates as called for. A very rare and desirable book.
