Here is a beautiful Antique Victorian Wool and Silk  Needlepoint tapestry long panel probably for a footstool.There is some damage on the outer edge a small chunk of the webbing is missing size 1.5" x 1.52 this has not eaten into the needlework also there is white wool missing from the third motif which can be easily replaced with similar wool, otherwise it is in very good condition and can be easily rescued. The needlework is silk and wool and the design is  Victorian I would say. The colours are beautiful  together and the gold silk stitching add that little touch of light.

The size of the whole panel 51"x 11" or 130cm x 28cm ...........The size of the actual stitched area is 49" x 7.5" or 124.5cm x 19cm.... the missing chunk is 22.5" or 57cm along the edge .
