Here is a set of 13 beautiful Antique 19th C. Silk Mats with beautiful silk hand embroidery of birds and flowers. There is one large circular mat and six medium size mats and six small mats they were probably for a dressing table or sideboard. They are all in very good condition there is a couple of small feint marks on the large mat but that is the only sign of age the rest are very good condition. The silk embroidery is in very good condition no fading no rot anywhere. I would guess these are from India  they are a cream slub silk fabric and quite loose embroiderey probably done on a frame.

The size of the largest mat is 20" or 51cm accross... medium sized mat is 8" or 20cm accross.... small sized mat 5" or 12.5cm accross centre.
