Antique 19th C Knox Top Hat Org Leather Box Victorian

Antique 19^th C Knox pony fur top hat in the original leather box.  I was told this was made from pony fur. It is very soft. Hat has a suede like band. It measures outside7” tall, x 12” x 9n ½.” Inside is 6” deep x 7 ¾” x 6.” Condition – hat is in excellent, clean condition – no tears, stains, missing parts, holes, tears, or wear. Box is structurally intact, inside is VERY clean, no fading, stains, tears, or repairs. Still has brass and elastic strap. Exterior has surface wear and cracking. It is structurally sound but the surface is dry. Seams are very strong. 1 seam split on the inside lid.
