Write for special offer to place your order now. If you would like one of our self-pulling corkscrews send 6 cents in stamps or a label from a quart bottle, or two pint labels. Address the Welch Grape Juice Company, Westfleld, N. Y.
(Interesting to read in the next entry, for Cough Mixtures, the recommending of heroin hydrochloride. “one of the most efficient and popular cough sedatives of the present day”! Why have a perfect solution –a good bottle of wine– when you can turn it profitably into two perfect problems –grape juice and heroin!)
Condition: Very good. Wood is in original, un-refinished condition (much of the original shellac is still in place). Some wear to the black lettering as per the photos. Worm is missing the very end of its point. No severe pitting or rust. Handle tight, no looseness. No bends, dings or repairs. A neat old advertising corkscrew from long, long ago.
Size: Corkscrew is 5.75" long and 3.7" across the handle.
Packing & Shipping: I pack all my items with the utmost care and in a way which, if I was the buyer, I would want to receive them myself. I have seven years’ experience packing and shipping ceramics and glass and other delicate items, always double-boxed, and always carefully protected and firmly padded to prevent looseness and movement. Just a quick glance at my feedback should set your mind at rest as nearly everyone is kind enough to mention how pleased they were with the way their item was packed. So feel free to bid with assurance, and of course I stand by my guarantee to accept returns as per the conditions set out below.
I add a small handling charge of 50 cents per item which is included in the shipping charges shown in the shipping calculator below. There are no hidden extra charges.
I will gladly combine shipping for multiple purchases. Buyer pays shipping on highest item, all others shipped free!
