Fob Pocket Watch
The watch runs when agitated, then stops after a short period, so sold for spares or repair.
There is no key and the minute hand is kinked.
The item measures approx 2" (5cm) in diameter, not including crown.
The crystal is clear, with some light wear.
The movement is marked;
"Am Watch Co, Waltham Mass, Safety Pinion,
5486924 (dating the movement to approx 1891)."
All the covers close tightly and there is no movement.
The enamel face has some hairlines.
The hallmarked, Solid Silver open faced case is in good general order, a knock to one side of the bezel (near the 3/4), and pocket wear. The inside of the rear covers have a full set of hallmarks for;
"Birmingham, 1893(t), Makers mark of "AB"?, 598."
