This is a super authentic antique sundial as can be seen from the photographs. The piece is engraved with ' Sic Transit Gloria Mundi' which is Latin for Thus passes earthly glory.
 

This exceptional sundial is has a lovely shaped gnomon. The beautifully hand engraved dial has also has a sunburst which is engraved to the centre. Around the edge is engraved hours and quarter hour divisions marked making this sundial far more accurate than most. The dial has a wonderful original verdigris patination which natural weathering has bestowed up its surface.

The magnificent dial would make it an interesting focal point to your garden or conservatory.

 
This is a super piece which measure approximately 6 inches in diameter and stands approximately 3.25 inches tall.
