This book entitled Annals of South Glamorgan is in good condition. It is hard back in board complete with unclipped dust jacket. Published by Stewart Williams 1970. It is 9” tall by 6” wide. It contains over 269 pages with many illustrations. It was it first published in 1913 and its author Marianne Robertson Spencer includes the history, legends and folk lore of the Southern part of the county of Glamorgan. It concerns a large are from Sully in the East to Kenfig in the West and the book contains a vast amount of information on the villages and places in the Vale of Glamorgan. They include: Bridgend, Merthyr Mawr, Kenfig, Dunraven, Newton Cottage, Llancarvan, Llantwit Major, St. Donats Castle, Cowbridge, St.Nicholas, Sully, St.Fagans, Barry and Barry Island.
